We Are seeking a Business Director to run a large new client win within the music streaming service category.

We have been appointed to conceptualise, produce and manage their main social media presence across multiple EU markets with the objective to drive brand awareness, affinity, and relevance.

We will be responsible for managing the always-on social strategy, content production, paid media and channel performance across multiple EU markets. In addition, we will also need to support bespoke artist or brand campaigns (campaign strategy & execution). There will be dedicated internal (client) social media managers in some of the markets who will be the main points of contact. The agency will also be responsible for management of local handles.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a highly experienced Business Director. You will have proven experience in the setting up, developing, directing and running of a large-scale piece of business across multiple EU markets. The mothership hub will be run from our London office, and you’ll be expected to lead the EU leadership team as well as ensuring the seamless delivery across all other markets, including the UK.

You will be the lead working to ensure our local market offices are implementing the global brand strategy and producing, developing and posting local market content that aligns to the brands overarching strategic goals.

You should have the following:

  • Proven expertise in social media
  • Entertainment/ music brand experience
  • A passion for the music industry
  • A thorough understanding of social culture and community.
  • Paid media experience
  • Be able to understand the detail of monthly reports, QBR’s, social dashboards, social performance to ensure the overarching strategy is optimised.
  • Understand how to develop scalable ideas across multiple social channels and campaign moments.
  • Adept at managing a large-scale client and agency team across multiple markets.
  • Cross agency relationship building experience.
  • You’ll have solid strategic experience and understand the complexities of setting up and managing a client across multiple EU markets.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Oversight of a client portfolio up to £5m in agency revenue
  • Provide clear strategic and creative leadership – both internally and with clients, taking ownership and setting the direction.
  • Foster strong relationships with senior clients and develop long-term partnerships.
  • Expertise – in both the industry and the category (music streaming or entertainment).
  • Full financial management – development of detailed retainer proposals, accurate reforecasting, mid-term client service resource and finance planning to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Knowledge Sharing and thought leadership – local & global.
