Accounts & Admin Officer Hong Kong
The role
The Accounts & Admin Officer will take charge of updating the company’s financial transactions to reflect a truth and fair financial position and to meet legal requirements. The incumbent will also be responsible to keep the HK office running smoothly by overseeing administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
Finance:
- Updating of general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payables and assets register;
- Issuing invoices and debt collection, updating of payment from clients;
- Process payments within expected time;
- Handling employee expense reimbursement;
- Preparation of reconciliation of bank statements and follow up;
- Collaborating with People & Culture team to prepare monthly payroll, MPF contributions, final payment and tax filing;
- Coordinate and communicate with group finance team to ensure smooth business operations
- Conducting financial reports and analysis for management review, and
- Organising financial documents filing for easy retrieval
Office Administration:
- Supporting day to day general office administration to ensure smooth office operation;
- Liaising with building management office and other service providers (e.g. Internet, printing) in the areas of maintenance and general services;
- Communicating with regional offices for contractual matters;
- Office insurance arrangement and renewal;
- Maintaining stock of office supplies and placing orders when necessary;
- Managing phone calls and correspondence (email, letters, packages etc), and
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor
Requirements
What You should have
- Diploma or above in Finance or related discipline with at least 3 years’ work experience;
- LCCI Accounting Level 2 or above;
- Experience of working in marketing/advertising company is preferred;
- A self-starter with excellent accuracy and capability of multi-tasking;
- Willing to learn and problem-solving orientation
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel); familiar with Accounting Software;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
