Our 1,300-strong global team is passionate about all things social. We were born from an understanding of how socially-led ideas can connect people. This is still at the core of everything we do. Collaboration is key to our achievements. We share our ideas and knowledge across our whole network, so we learn and improve together.
We are now looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Delivery team, picking up the day-to-day work for one of our largest clients – running big multi-national campaigns and delivering global content to a world-class and much-loved high-street brand.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
This role is one of a larger team of Client Services and Project Managers, working into the Project Director in the Group, and being responsible for some of the largest work-streams going through the account. Your role is to scope and plan new campaigns and projects as they are briefed to the agency, manage the agency project team, which would consist of Creative, Editorial, Strategy, Artworking and Design and Data/Research, and deliver the project according to project timings and budget. You will be responsible for your team’s capacity, and will delegate work and tasks to your team members ongoing, as well as being client-facing and partnering with the clients for the projects/campaigns that you are in charge of.
You will need to demonstrate knowledge of how social content is produced across a range of platforms, and how to successfully deliver social content. For this particular client, experience of working on large brand campaigns with lots of moving parts is also a requirement, either from an integrated agency or an ATL agency (incl. experience of delivering OOH, DOOH, Print, Radio etc.).
The nature of our offering here at We Are Social requires a high level of flexibility, common sense and versatility. Our client’s expectations, and being market leaders within our field, require a ‘can do’ approach from all our staff; a commitment to finding solutions and looking for innovative ways to deliver work on an ongoing basis.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
Proven ‘traditional’ PM skills including writing/updating timing plans, budgets, SoWs/delivery plans, booking and managing resources and managing a project team.
Lead projects from a delivery perspective from client brief to completion.
Good understanding of social media content creation and production
Experience with running large campaigns – from an integrated or ATL agency
Experience of working in multi-market environments, where deliverables vary due to differing market conditions
Good with finances, you manage your projects and teams well, always balancing out the best solution for the work with the best solution for the budgets
Used to managing clients and managing client expectations and comms. Happy to lead conversations with clients to drive projects forwards
Agency & Finance Responsibilities:
Ensure all documentation is per agency standards, all documentation is detailed and correct, and that the relevant templates/formats are being used
Proactively ensure all work is paid for – and that client requests are costed and approved before work is booked for production
Ensure that internal cost approval processes are followed across all your projects
Ensure that agency resources are used efficiently (i.e. your booked resources)
Ensure all work is signed off at the right stages, by the right people (both internal sign-off, and client approvals)
Proactively ensure profitability of your account – Monitoring project costs and proactively communicate overruns/financial issues to your senior team member in a timely manner
Ongoing risk assessment, with mitigation strategies to deliver quality work on time, and to budget
